The Duomo area is the undisputed heart of the city of Milan and, in addition to the stupendous churches and imposing galleries, winding streets full of elegant buildings and refined clubs. It is precisely in via Santa Tecla 3, a small street behind piazza San Babila, that the A’ Mare restaurant is born.
The dream of three boys
The A’ Mare restaurant was born as the realization of the dream of three young boys. Michela, Maurizio and Matteo have decided to merge their entrepreneurial skills, acquired working in finance, with their enormous passion for evil and thus this beautiful project was born.
Starting from the furnishings up to the choice of dishes and raw materials, everything reflects the taste of the three young people.
Feel at home
Entering the A’ mare restaurant is a bit like finding yourself immersed in the serene atmosphere of a summer evening on the beach. This is due both to a thoughtful and refined choice of colours, a mixture of shades that reflect those of our Mediterranean, and to the friendliness and hospitality that give a homely atmosphere, however imbued with quality and refinement. The kitchen is open, just as if it were a home, familiar and reassuring. In this way, customers have the opportunity to observe the passion with which the chefs prepare their delicious dishes, without feeling the distance that can often be perceived in the face of so much quality.
Suggestive photos of maritime landscapes hang on the walls and all the furnishings are made up of Mediterranean and marine references.
Contrasting tastes
Given the recurring theme of this restaurant, the menu is mainly based on sea products such as fish, crustaceans, molluscs. These precious dishes are expertly combined with ingredients with flavors such as capers or fior di latte, but also with more delicate raw materials, such as apples and cherry tomatoes. This combination of contrasting flavors creates a blend of flavors that melts between the taste buds.
